STUDENT VOLUNTEER CHALLENGE 

Students in 7th and 8th grade are encouraged to apply for this exciting opportunity. From June 1st to July 1st, students will participate in a volunteer challenge, to collect new, athletic-style shoes in sizes for toddlers to 18 year-olds (up to men's 13).

Students should work to earn money, and then shop for well-priced shoes, to learn not only how to earn money but how to stretch a dollar. Students also learn, that the shoes on their feet, are far more expensive than they might have expected.

In 2023, seven student volunteers worked hard to create snack bars, GoFundMe accounts, and establish fundraising tables at local events. Students even babysat and sold their original artwork to make money. Their efforts helped to bring in over 600 of our final 906 pairs of shoes!
